The Divine Trine and Showcasing at the Cheech
I wanted to share the meaning of “The Divine Trine” here on my blog for those who haven’t seen it in person. For centuries, humans have been fascinated by trines because they embody universal principles of harmony, stability, and flow. The number three and the triangle have deep philosophical and spiritual connotations. Many belief systems, including Christianity (the Holy Trinity), Hinduism (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva), and practitioners of Astrology (Trines represent the positive flow of energy), see the triangle or the number three as a representation of divine order balance, and completeness. Thus, they are representations of universal truth and wisdom; one could say trines are divine gifts in the physical and metaphorical forms sent from the heavens for our interpretation. My process is to combine these ancient beliefs to create a new way of storytelling, one that fits the narrative of tapping into the divine that lays doormat within, waiting to be called upon to begin the soul's true journey. As I cultivate and visualize my desires, I can birth a new reality into existence and attract experiences that resonate with my soul's purpose with the help of my higher self. Embracing this journey means understanding that I am not just a passive observer but an active participant in the co-creation of my life, inviting love, joy, and abundance into every aspect of existence.
“How did I get here?” I remembered asking myself as I was rushing to finish “The Divine Trine” for the current exhibition at the Cheech. During these 5 weeks, my mind was pacing, never thinking that I would ever even touch a paintbrush again, let alone create the biggest and most controversial piece I have ever done, no less for a prestigious museum. It was an honor to be invited and showcased among more seasoned artists than myself. I keep asking myself how this has happened in such a short time span, life has changed so much in two years. Could I have really gotten here just by following my intuition? Was it because I was just lucky? I think it was a combination of the two, along with staying hungry. I remember talking to an old childhood friend, and she stated to me she was impressed by how hungry I was for change and success. I pondered about that statement and replied, “I’m not just hungry, but starving.” I wasn't just hungry for success, but I was starving for speaking my own truth and my own narrative, and along the way, I have met other individuals who became my friends and colleagues who were starved in the same way as I did. Things truly fall into place when you follow your own truth.
I hope you guys enjoyed listening to my inner thoughts, about my experience and this process. Stay tune for my next blog where I’ll go into my next series.
